Description: We expressed harmony of red and white by Maki-e. These two representative colors had been made a comb and so on by ivory in Edo period as well as white (ivory) and gold. We also care the balance of the area (color) between roses and it's background. After painting Shu Urushi, we described roses in white Urushi lacquer ware.
