Dorsal Fin 1 Suzu Ishime (Shu)　

This model has a fin on the cap that acts as a roll stopper. It is designed with the image of a knife.
It is “Suzu Ishime” which uses “roasted tin powder” instead of Kanshitsu (dry lacquer) powder.
Using the roasted tin powder made it possible to creates the material finish.
This Suzuishime red uses the Shu(vermilion) lacquer for the base, and the finish will be bright to add a touch of gorgeousness to silver.
“Ishime” is created with the special technique that makes stone like texture on the surface.

Dorsal Fin 1 ICE FIELD　

This pen is designed with image of an ice field in mind.

D-17 Long SUZU-NUNOME

Suzu nunome, a large part of the base is dressed with hemp cloth and fixed with urushi lacquer, then the base lacquer is applied to the nunome and black lacquer is applied. Tin powder is sprinkled and fixed with lacquer, and the texture of the cloth is polished and glazed so that the texture of the cloth appears on the axis.
The finish is scratch-resistant while maintaining a beautiful luster.
The cover part is made of “Suzu Ishime”.
The thickness of the cover is about 1mm thicker than the original thickness because it is covered with a cloth.

Dorsal Fin 2 Kuro-tame Ishime

This model has fins on the cap and the body that acts as a roll stopper. It is designed with the image of a Katana, a sword.
“Ishime kanshitsu, Kuro-tamenuri” uses the shu (vermilion) lacquer for a base color and a black dry lacquer powder.
The finish becomes rough and powerful like a lava, the same as “Ishime kanshitsu, Aka-tamenuri”.
“Ishime kanshitsu, Kuro-tamenuri” has a darker color because it uses the shuai urushi lacquer mixed with black lacquer for the finish.

Dorsal Fin 2 Aka-tame Ishime

This model has fins on the cap and the body that acts as a roll stopper. It is designed with the image of a Katana, a sword.
” Ishime kanshitsu, Aka-tamenuri” uses the shu (vermilion) lacquer for a base color and a black dry lacquer powder, and finishs with a shu-ai lacquer.
It is similar to “Ishime kanshitsu, Kuro-tamenuri” finish but it has more reddish color.
So it seems like a hot lava.
“Ishime” is created with the special technique that makes stone like texture on the surface.
When the dry lacquer powder is sprinkled on a lacquered surface, surface tension works and the powder gathered in places.

Dorsal Fin 2 Heki-tame Ishime

This is the 2nd version of “Dorsal Fin” model is a rolling stoper as whole body itself. The model this time was made a rolling stopper for not only a cap, but also a barrel by the requiremant. So we cannot mount a clip because of the “dorsal fin” on a barrel.

Dorsal Fin 2 Kuro Ishime

”Ishime kanshitsu, Black” uses black lacquer for a base color and black dry lacquer powder.
It has a beautiful jet black finish that looks like an obsidian.
