Cigar Long SPERM WHALE & GIANT SQUID　

The design on this pen represents a fight between a sperm whale and a giant squid unfolding in the deep sea.

The whale is finished with Sumiko and the squid with Taka-Makie.

This provides a wonderful contrast, which is further accented by a stream of water in Raden.

Cigar Long HORRIBLE SKELETON

Some apparition try to escape from between grip section and barrel or barrel itself so they make a crack on the barrel. The skeleton excludes us from the cracking space in the reproachful. Cigar Long JUMPING CARP

The jumping carp, which is said to be a sign of good luck, is finished with charcoal powder.
The lively sound of the water surface is expressed with charcoal powder and heaped silver.

Suzu Isihme (Midori)　

It is “Suzu Ishime” which uses “roasted tin powder” instead of Kanshitsu (dry lacquer) powder.
Using the roasted tin powder made it possible to creates the material finish.
This Suzuishime green uses the blue lacquer for the base, and the finish will be lighter than the black base one, and looks the silver the brighter.

“Ishime” is created with the special technique that makes stone like texture on the surface.

Cigar Long Kuro-tame Ishime　

“Kuro-tame Ishime” uses the shu (vermilion) lacquer for a base color and a black dry lacquer powder.
The finish becomes rough and powerful like a lava, the same as “Ishime kanshitsu, Aka-tamenuri”. “Ishime kanshitsu, Kuro-tamenuri” has a darker color because it uses the shuai urushi lacquer mixed with black lacquer for the finish.

Cigar Long Aka-tame Ishime　

”Aka-tame Ishime” uses the shu (vermilion) lacquer for a base color and a black dry lacquer powder, and finishs with a shu-ai lacquer.
It is similar to “Ishime kanshitsu, Kuro-tamenuri” finish but it has more reddish color. So it seems like a hot lava.

Cigar Potable Heki-tame Ishime

“Heki-tame Ishime” uses the special blue color lacquer for a base and the same special color dry lacquer powder, and finishs with a shu-ai lacquer.
