The size is almost the same as Piccolo size.The end of the cap and barrel, the grip section, and the basket are painted with black lacquer. The size is almost the same as Piccolo but 1~2mm thicker because of the covers.The end of the cap and barrel, the grip section are painted with black lacquer.Because Pernambuco is a natural material, each wood grain and color will vary each other. To take advantage of the wood texture, It is only polished. Please be careful not to get ink on it because it is not coated. Also, since Pernambuco was originally used as a raw material for dyes, the color may transfer due to sweat or etc.Pernambuco is a rare material native to Brazil and is used for the bows of stringed instruments. Due to excessive logging in Brazil, it is now protected by CITES and is difficult to obtain.
