The eyes are made of tiny cut gold, and the whiskers are drawn one by one and sprinkled gold powder.The design is such that all the rough waves around the whale merge into one at the tip of the pen barrel. They are drawn with silver powder, and adding height differences to each wave, creates the looks of waves colliding violently. In addition, the waves lines of are drawn one by one with very thin golden lines. The waves are also drawn on the grip section.The whale is boldly placed in the detailed waves on a gorgeous background applied urushi lacquer using gold powder, creating a lively and gorgeous finish.
