Miyabigi Series KOHAKUBOKU

The wood is decorated with Urusih Nashiji technique.  The deep brown hue and fine shimmer like gold dust are distinctive and very elegant. 

The design, in which the grain of the wood is visible, also evokes a sense of natural and traditional beauty.

The name “amber wood” was chosen to express the transparency and warmth of the amber-like hue.

Since the decoration matches the grain of the wood, the expression of the urushi lacquer part differs from one piece to another.

Miyabigi Series EIBOKU

The unique pattern of black and gray blending with the warmth of the wood grain contrasts with the chic and calm design.

The name “Eiboku” expresses the simplicity of the combination of the shadow-like pattern and the grain of the wood.

Since the decoration matches the grain of the wood, the expression of the urushi lacquer part differs from one piece to another.

Dorsal Fin 1 ICE FIELD　

This pen is designed with image of an ice field in mind.
To sharpen the groove edges, cut it by carving knife.
Adding silver powders slightly to the groove.
It is left unpolished.

NeoStandard KINTSUGI

For new barrel, the kintsugi-style maki-e lacquerware gives the appearance of having been repaired using the kintsugi technique, an ancient Japanese restoration technique.

Dorsal Fin 1 Kikyo Ishime

This model has a fin on the cap that acts as a roll stopper.
It is designed with the image of a knife.
“Ishime kanshitsu, Kikyo” uses the blue, we called “Kikyo” lacquer for a base color and a blue dry lacquer powder.
The brilliant finish resembles lapis lazuli which has a deep blue color that seems to draw you in.
“Ishime” is created with the special technique that makes stone like texture on the surface.
When the dry lacquer powder is sprinkled on a lacquered surface, surface tension works and the powder gathered in places.
Making use of the clumps created by chance, layer the lacquer, let it fix, and then polish it to create “Ishime”.
It will be the “cobblestone-like” finish in the garden.

Dorsal Fin 2 Kikyo Ishime

This model has fins on the cap and the body that acts as a roll stopper. It is designed with the image of a Katana, a sword.

D-17 Portable ShuNurihanashi　

The 17mm barrel is heavy and fits firmly in the hand, giving the fountain pen a sense of stability.

The most traditional color of urushi, “Shu(vermilion)” is used and made it matte finish.
“NuriHanashi (unpolished)” is the technique without polishing after painting. It requires very high level techniques because there are no post processes.

D-17 Portable AraiShu

The 17mm barrel is heavy and fits firmly in the hand, giving the fountain pen a sense of stability.

The color “AraiShu” is a different kind and quaint brighter vermilion from “Shu (vermilion)”. “AraiShu” means a light vermilion color because the color becomes lighter after washing the dyed cloth. The color can be said close to orange red. The color range is wide, from a vermilion like reddish color to a salmon pink kind of color are called “AraiShu”.
It is one of the colors that became popular in the late Edo period with the revival of Yamato-e.

D-17 Portable KuroRoiro　

The 17mm barrel is heavy and fits firmly in the hand, giving the fountain pen a sense of stability.

The very traditional color of urushi, “Kuro-roiro(Black)” is used and it shines glossy and deeply.
Roiro is one of the color names for black, and means the deep and beautiful wet like black color of a black lacquer. The color name comes from Roiro-nuri, which is one of the lacquer coating techniques.

D-17 Portable BlackHairline

It has more weight and stability than the regular 15mm pens.
This wide width tightly fits in your hand and has a sense of stability.
This size will be recommended for those who feel the standard size is little slim.
The total length is the same as 15mm portable size, Ryogiri and Dorsal fin series.
The length without cap will be longer than 15mm portable size because the grip section is long type, but shorter than Ryogiri and Dorsal fin series.

Due to the traditional black color lacquer is used for the base color and draw a very thin line to the base each by each very carefully, the hairline like pattern is created. And the unpolished finish makes vintage and quaint like Sumiko finish.
