The transparent acrylic pen barrel is painted with “Akebono-nuri” technique.To take advantage of the transparency of acrylic, transparent amber lacquer instead of vermilion is used for painting with the “Akebono-nuri” technique. And it is blurred to gradually be transparent towards both ends.“Akebono-nuri” is a lacquer painting technique in which black lacquer is applied over vermilion lacquer and polished to reveal the underlying vermilion. It is said that the name comes from that the vermilion pattern on the black background looks like a dawn shining through darkness.
