- ・We do not accept repair requests or provide services like tuning for fountain pens from other manufacturers or those that have been altered by you or another party.
- ・If you purchased your fountain pen at a shop, please contact that shop directly.
- ・We are not responsible for fountain pens sent without prior contact. Also, we are not liable for damage during shipping, such as scratches or cracks.
- ・If we cannot return your pen due to your circumstances and we don’t hear from you for six months after the repair or tuning is complete, we will no longer be responsible for storing it.
- ・Currently, we do not ship to Russia and India.

01Nib tuning (free of charge)
Tuning means we can improve the smoothness of your fountain pen’s writing. We tune the nib free of charge unless parts need to be replaced.
We kindly ask that you pay miscellaneous expenses, such as shipping fees, separately.
Examples of Issues:
・The ink does not seep out.
・The pen writes poorly.
・The nib is bent.
We offer various repair services for a fee, including nib replacement, part replacement, and reapplication of urushi lacquer. Prices vary depending on the repair service, so please feel free to contact us for details.
Examples of Repair Requests:
・Changing the line thickness by replacing the nib
・Repairs that require part replacement
・Repairing damage to urushi lacquered fountain pens
Case No. 1: Repair of Scratches
We apply a new layer of urushi lacquer not only to the damaged area, but to the entire cap or pen barrel.
Case No. 2: Repair of Splits and Cracks Using Winding Threads
We repair fountain pens by winding urushi lacquered threads around a split or crack to strengthen the area.
Case No. 3: Kintsugi
We repair fountain pens using the traditional Japanese art of kintsugi, which involves applying urushi lacquer to repair damaged pottery.
*Please note that we may not be able to accept requests for kintsugi repairs depending on the extent of the damage to the fountain pen.
*To prevent the ink from drying out, it is important to close the cap tightly. However, depending on the damage, the cap may not close firmly enough, leading to ink drying issues.
How to request
Have your order number ready when contacting us about items purchased from our website.
It will take us about a month to complete the tuning of the nib after we receive your fountain pen.
The time it takes to adjust or repair your fountain pen varies depending on your specific request.

Fill out the inquiry form.
Please provide the details of your request for tuning or repair of your fountain pen according to the inquiry form for the services, and then send us the request.
We will contact you later.
STEP.02
Shipment of your fountain pen
Please package your fountain pen and send your fountain pen to us by following the instructions in the email.
STEP.03
Arrival of your fountain pen for our tuning or repair services/quotation
Upon receiving your fountain pen for tuning or repair services, we will check the contents and contact you regarding the quotation and delivery date.
Please note that it may take some time to return your fountain pen to you. We appreciate your understanding.
STEP.04
Tuning and repair services/delivery
We will begin tuning or repairing your fountain pen once we confirm that you have paid the fee for our services.
You will receive an email notifying you of the completion of the tuning or repair, along with a request to confirm the address to which your fountain pen will be sent. After that, we will ship your fountain pen back to you.
If you purchased the pen at a store, please contact where you purchased it first.
It is available to adjust your pen at a demonstration sales event if you bring your own pen.
